You will need to know the outputs for the Control Quality process for the PMP Certification Exam. The results of this process that you need to know are hopefully what you would expect:
The quality measurements are recorded as indicated in the Plan Quality Management process. The measurements go to the Perform Quality Assurance process.
Deliverables and results are verified, or a change request is submitted to bring them into compliance.
Changes are validated as appropriate.
Work performance information is generated, such as the number and cause of defects.
Documentation is updated:
The project management plan. The quality management plan and the process improvement plan
Project documents. Metrics and quality standards
Organizational process assets. Lessons learned and quality checklists
The following responsibility standards from the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct are demonstrated in the “Ethics and quality control” sidebar and are applicable to all aspects of the project.
Report unethical or illegal conduct to appropriate management and, if necessary, to those affected by the conduct.
Bring violations of the code of Ethics and Professional Conduct to the attention of the appropriate body for resolution.
File ethics complaints only when they are substantiated by facts.
Pursue disciplinary action against an individual who retaliates against a person raising ethics concerns.
