If you want to tie the flower to a package, make a tie in your desired color.
Make a chain 2 inches longer than the combined circumference of the package in both directions. Fasten off, leaving a 6-inch sewing length. Wrap the tie around the package in both directions with the ends meeting at the center top. Tie the ends in a knot at the center top.
Make as many curlicues as desired in colors to match or contrast with flowers by following this stitch pattern:
Row 1: 3 sc in second ch from hook, 3 sc in each ch across.
Fasten off, leaving a 6-inch sewing length.
With yarn needle and sewing lengths, sew one end to wrong side of Rnd 1 of the flower, as desired.
Arrange flowers on top of the package, as desired.
With a yarn needle and the extra sewing lengths, sew the flowers to the ties.
