The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a standardized test normally used for graduate school admissions. The test is composed entirely of analogies. The practice questions listed here are similar to the ones you will encounter on the real MAT test, and so it will help you get used to the way the MAT poses questions.

As you take the test, it's a good idea to circle questions you guessed on — after all, if you get them right, it may just be luck. Review questions you guessed on as carefully as you review questions you got wrong. After taking the test, review your mistakes and guesses as best you can so you learn as much as possible from the experience. Good luck!
