Part of the fun of taking photos is sharing those images with others. The iPad's Photos app allows you to create a slideshow to show off your pictures. You can even add background music and fancy transitions to your iPad slideshow!
Running a slideshow
Running an iPad slideshow is a great way to give a presentation to a client on your easy-to-carry iPad, or show your friends a slideshow of your last adventure travel vacation.
To use the slideshow feature, follow these steps:
Tap the Photos app icon to open the application.
Tap the Photos tab.
Tap the Slideshow button to see the Slideshow Options menu.
If you want to play music along with the slideshow, tap the On/Off button in the Play Music field.
To choose the music that will play along with the slideshow, tap the Music field and in the list that appears, tap any selection from your iPod library.
Tap the transition effect you want to use for your slideshow.
Tap the Start Slideshow button.
To run a slideshow that includes only the photos contained in a particular album, tap the Album tab, tap an album to open it, and then tap the Slideshow button to adjust settings and run a slideshow.
Displaying Picture Frame
You can use the slideshow settings you created in the previous section to run your slideshow while your iPad screen is locked so you can view a continuous display of your pictures.
Here's how to use the Picture Frame feature:
Tap the Sleep/Wake button to lock iPad and then tap the Home button to go to the Lock screen.
Tap the Picture Frame button. The slideshow begins. To end the show, tap the Home button.
If you don't like the effects used on the picture frame, go back to Photos and change the slideshow settings.
