Many end-of-course exams require that calculators be put in "exam" mode. On the TI-84 Plus C (or any of the TI-83 or TI-84 families of calculators), the best way to accomplish this is by using the TI-TestGuard app. The name of the app has changed (it used to be called Press-to-Test), and the functionality has improved. You might find it difficult to follow instructions written in the downloadable manual; hopefully this video will simplify the process a bit for you.
